The EU's digital "Entry/Exit System (EES)" will start operating on 12 October 2025. European countries using the EES will introduce the system gradually at their external borders with full implementation by 10 April 2026.

The 3rd Civil Chamber of the Court of Cassation ruled that the consumer is entitled to request reimbursement of the foreign-currency-paid package tour amount at the exchange rate valid on the date of the lawsuit's filing. The decision has been published in the Official Gazette No. 32922 of 10.06.2025.
The Export Regulation has been amended by the "Regulation on the Amendment of Export Regulation, " published in today's Official Gazette (Issue: 32892).
Mobbing Circular in Force
Circular on the Prevention of Psychological Harassment (Mobbing) in Workplaces (No: 2025/3) came into force after being published in today's Official Gazette (No: 32833).
The Ministry of Justice issued a statement on 26 February 2025. The statement concerns the foreseen amendments to the relevant Turkish legislation on telephone subscriptions, banks and financial institutions in line with the third aim of the Fourth Judicial Reform Strategy Document.

7th Judicial Reform Package Introduced
Code No: 7445 (the "7 th Judicial Reform Package") was published at yesterday's (5 April 2023) official newspaper. The Package introduced amendments to the following 18 instruments:
The General Assembly of the Turkish Constitutional Court unanimously rendered a landmark pilot judgment in the case of N.K. (individual application, human rights, 2021/58970) where it held that the Turkish legal system lacks an effective remedy for the redress of the violations of the right to be tried within a reasonable time.
Singapore Convention, Entry into Force
A Presidential decision published in today's Official Newspaper (No: 31761) indicated that the date of entry into force of the United Nations Convention on International Settlement Agreements Resulting from Mediation (the "Singapore Convention on Mediation") for Turkey shall be 11 April 2022.
